The Bannerghatta Road Campus
Located in the heart of Bengaluru, India’s technology and innovation capital, IIM Bangalore’s
100-acre Bannerghatta Road campus is renowned for its distinctive blend of architecture,
greenery, and academic excellence. Designed by the renowned Pritzker Prize-winning
architect Dr Balkrishna Doshi, the campus draws inspiration from the architectural traditions
of Madurai and Fatehpur Sikri, creating spaces that encourage learning, dialogue, and
engagement.
Home to diverse flora and fauna, the campus offers a calm and inspiring environment for
executive learning. In 2021, it was recognised among The 25 Most Significant Works of Post-
War Architecture by The New York Times Style Magazine, underscoring its enduring
architectural and cultural significance.
Management Development Centre
Executive education participants benefit from dedicated Management Development Centre
(MDC). Designed specifically for executive learning, the MDC combine residential
accommodation, learning spaces, dining facilities, and recreational amenities within a
comfortable and well-equipped environment.
The MDC on the Bannerghatta Road campus has long been an integral part of the executive
education experience at IIM Bangalore. The MDC provides participants with a seamless
residential experience that encourages interaction, networking, and engagement beyond the
classroom.
