Professor Sankarshan Basu
Professor Sushanta Kumar Mishra is a leading scholar and educator in the fields of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management, with extensive experience in teaching, research, executive education, and academic leadership. At IIM Bangalore, he serves as Chairperson of Executive Education Programmes and holds several key leadership roles, including Chairperson of Research and Publications, Chairperson of Organizational Behaviour & Human Resources Management, Chairperson of the Centre for Teaching and Learning, Chairperson of C-DOCTA, and Editor-in-Chief of IIMB Management Review. He also served as President of the Indian Academy of Management.
Professor Mishra's research spans organizational behaviour, human resource management, leadership, careers, workplace psychology, information systems, and higher education. His work has been published in several leading international journals, including the Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Organizational Behaviour, Journal of Vocational Behaviour, Journal of World Business, Human Resource Management, Human Resource Management Review, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Information Technology & People, Personality and Individual Differences, Psychological Assessment, and Studies in Higher Education, among others.
At IIM Bangalore, he teaches MBA courses on Organizational Behaviour, Organizational Design, Career and Self, and Leadership Competencies. At the doctoral level, he teaches Advanced Micro-Organizational Behaviour, Research Methods, and Philosophy of Social Sciences. His teaching excellence has been recognised through the Best Teacher Award at IIM Indore and recognition for Excellence in Teaching at IIM Bangalore.
Professor Mishra has designed and delivered executive education programmes on leadership, team building, and related themes for a wide range of organisations across the private, public, and government sectors. His executive education engagements include organisations such as ICICI Bank, ITC, Larsen & Toubro, SAP Labs, Bosch, Reliance Group, Tata Motors, Deloitte, Walmart Labs, Whirlpool, and Panasonic India, among many others. He has also worked extensively with public institutions including SEBI, Indian Railways, the Indian Army, Border Security Force, LIC, ONGC, BHEL, NTPC, Power Grid Corporation, the National Judicial Academy, and officers from the Indian Administrative Service and other government services.
In addition to his teaching and executive education contributions, Professor Mishra has undertaken consulting assignments for the Government of Madhya Pradesh and GIZ, Germany. His research has received numerous national and international recognitions, including Best Accepted Paper awards and finalist recognitions at the Academy of Management Annual Meeting, the Emerging Diversity Scholar Award from the University of Michigan, the IFCI Award for Best Thesis Proposal at IIM Ahmedabad, and the distinction of being appointed the First Young Faculty Research Chair at IIM Indore.
Professor Mishra holds a Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela.

Vikas Chaturvedi
Vikas Chaturvedi is a senior executive education leader and management consultant with nearly three decades of experience spanning executive education, higher education leadership, management consulting, strategy, organisational development, and the consumer products sector. As Chief Programmes Officer for Executive Education Programmes at IIM Bangalore, he leads the institute’s executive education portfolio, driving programme strategy, corporate engagement, partnerships, growth initiatives, and operational excellence.
Prior to joining IIM Bangalore, Vikas served at NLSIU Bengaluru, India's top-ranked law university, where he led Professional & Continuing Education (PACE) and Academic Administration. Before that, at IIM Ahmedabad, he served as Chief Operating Officer for Executive Education Programmes and as Director of the Dubai Centre. During his tenure, IIM Ahmedabad's executive education programmes consistently secured leading positions in both Financial Times and national rankings.
Vikas also spent over a decade with Gallup, where he held several leadership positions, including Senior Practice Leader for Asia. His work focused on strategic planning, organisational growth, and leadership consulting, advising management teams of blue-chip organisations across the Asia-Pacific region and the Middle East. During his time at Gallup, he worked closely with leadership teams across more than 120 organisations worldwide.
Over the course of his career, Vikas has worked closely with corporate, public sector, and government organisations, contributing to institution building, leadership development, strategic growth, and stakeholder engagement. He has represented leading institutions and organisations at prominent industry forums and is a published author for Gallup. His thought leadership has also appeared in The Economic Times and Mint.
His areas of expertise include strategy, leadership development, management consulting, organisational development, business growth, corporate partnerships, executive education, and higher education administration.
Vikas holds a bachelor's degree in History from St. Stephen's College, Delhi, a master's degree in Behavioural Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and an MBA from Pittsburg State University, USA.

Shambhavi Rao is an executive education and talent management professional with over two decades of experience spanning executive education, corporate learning, talent development, and workforce transformation.
At IIM Bangalore, she leads corporate engagement and business development for Executive Education Programmes, partnering with organisations to design and deliver customised learning solutions for leadership and organisational development.
Prior to joining IIM Bangalore, she spent over sixteen years at Wipro in leadership roles across talent management, learning and development, workforce planning, and business operations. Over the course of her career, she has led talent development and learning initiatives, established learning ecosystems, and partnered with organisations to address capability-building and workforce development needs.
Her areas of expertise include executive education, corporate partnerships, business development, learning and development, talent management, leadership development, and organisational capability building.
Shambhavi holds a Master of Computer Applications from Hyderabad Central University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Human Resources) from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning, and an Advanced Management Programme certification from IIM Bangalore.
